Floral design is Peggy Sirisky’s God-given talent, she says, and so it’s no wonder that her business, The Flower Cottage, has blossomed for more than 30 years now. Her passion began as a child, cutting and arranging roses from her grandmother’s garden.

The business of flowers has stayed in the family, with Peggy’s aunt Linda Sirisky working alongside her as a wedding consultant at the florist on and off for years. Linda describes her niece as the “heart and nucleus” of the floral haven that also operates as a one-stop shop for all things bridal. “We lead the way from the time a bride says ‘I will’ until she says ‘I do,’” Linda explains.

From choosing floral decor and bouquets to sourcing the catering, venue and cake, they are honored to walk a bride through the process—no matter how big or small—from start to finish. “I take enormous pride in what I do,” Peggy says. “And I love knowing that I’ve had a part in starting these people’s lives. We take every wedding personally, as if it’s our very own.”
