The ladies of Maddison Row bridal salon want their brides to feel special. So special, in fact, that they essentially shut down the shop for each and every customer. Working exclusively by private appointments, the boutique gives each bride the focused attention they deserve.

“We pride ourselves on being very private with our brides,” store manager Lindsey Principi says. “It’s a very one-on-one experience. You have the entire space to yourself.”

Principi works hard to greet every client by name—as well as their mother and best friend—and it’s not uncommon for staffers to develop a bond with their brides over the course of the buying experience, from the initial consultation and on through fittings, alterations and wedding preparations.

Maddison Row specializes in high-end designer brands such as Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, Legends By Romona Keveza, Reem Acra and Nicole Miller. Whereas brides might have had to travel to New York to find such designers in the past, these days it’s often the other way around. Principi says, “Some shoppers come from New York because they like the smaller boutique feel, and we carry all the same lines.”
