When Jeffrey Newton first bought his candy apple red 1966 Pontiac GTO, he had no idea it would be the start of Lowcountry Valet and Shuttle Co. The full-service transportation company provides formal white-glove valet service plus limousine and coach bus transport. However, it’s the fleet of dreamy antique buses and cars that brides really adore, like the 1960s stretch Volkswagen bus, the snow-white 1950s Meadowbrook two-seater and the shiny black 1947 Lincoln Continental convertible.

Newton’s business began when a favor for a wedding planner in 2011 turned into a booming transportation company with a focus on vintage cars. Newton loves that it’s his job to preserve a part of history and share it with the world, but being a part of someone’s fairytale is also a highlight.

“The ability to share our passion with the client is always the best part of the job,” Newton says. “The faces of guests when they see us pulling up mixed with the excitement in their voices as we help complete their dream wedding is something that cannot be matched.”
